attached to them. Students will usually have a bedroom / study
of their own, and will share bathrooms, laundries and recreational

Transport
UK has an efficient public transport system (buses, trains and
metros / tubes) in all cities. There are also train, bus and air
services between cities and towns. Students using public transport
can apply for a student concession card. This assists students
a lot in reducing transportation expenses.
Working in United Kingdom While Studying
Overseas students living in United Kingdom can work up to 20
hours each week during the their term and 40 hours or more
each week during vacations. Any where you work in UK, you
will be getting a basic job rate i.e. £5.05 per hour.
Number of Jobs are easily available, i.e. Data Entry Clerk, Office
Clerical Jobs, Library Assistant, Translator, Security, Sales
Assistant, etc. If a student coming with her spouse, he/she can
work more than 40 hours per week provided the student has more
than 6-month visa.
Free Medical for Students
For all overseas Students Medical is free. You have to get register
with a Doctor, i.e. free of cost. All medication prescribe for
your health will not be borned by the oversea students.
